UNBC YL Debate

So, one of our first events on the calendar is the debate with the Young Liberals Club. We would like to hold it sometime during the week of Nov. 13-17th. If you could participate, that would be awesome. Please contact us if you would like to participate.

Clubs Day, September 8th

So, as you know, the UNBC Clubs Day is on Friday, September 8th, and we need your support! In order to maintain our club status, we need twenty (yes, twenty. 2-0) signatures from students/staff/ whomever. PLEASE come out and lend us your signature, even if you don't want to be in the club.

And Shinerama is the following Saturday (Sept. 9th) and we would love to see you out there as well. It's a fundraiser for cystic fibrosis, and it's such a good cause. We meet on Saturday at 8:45am at the Canfor Theatre, you get a t-shirt and a fundraising box, and you go out until about lunch time. It's short, sweet, and you're doing something good to help some really good people.

Getting Back in the Groove

Well, it's not quite September yet, but the UNBC YND are getting ready to get back into the swing of things. Maybe this year we'll have more stuff planned, and we're always open to ideas. If there is anything that you want to see happen please contact us, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

Wake Me Up When September Starts

The majority of UNBC YND members have gone home to enjoy the summer. However, if you are going to (or planning to go to) the University of Northern British Columbia next September, you could always express your interest early by contacting us, so that we can contact you earlier.

General Meeting

There will be a UNBC YND General Meeting on Wednesday, March 15th, 4:30 pm in Room 6-217 in the Canfor Building at UNBC.
